Description

The BouMatic Flo-Star MAX is a high-performance milking cluster developed for dairy farms requiring high milk-flow capacity, stable vacuum, durability, cow comfort and efficient milking performance during intensive 24/7 parlour operation.

At the heart of the Flo-Star MAX is BouMatic’s patented X-Cross Inlet Design. Milk entering the claw is directed down its walls into a sloped lower section and toward the outlet, helping the claw empty quickly and maintain stable vacuum conditions. The design also creates a narrow cluster profile that accommodates different udder shapes and teat positions while helping reduce kick-offs.

With an internal capacity of more than 340 ml, the Flo-Star MAX is designed to handle the milk flow of high-producing cows without flooding. Its full-flow inlet nipples, sloped bottom, center divider and unique hooded outlet sump work together to improve milk evacuation and reduce milk pooling and the risk of back jetting.

When combined with BouMatic Turbo Liners and Magnum LWX00 lightweight composite shells, the Flo-Star MAX provides a complete cluster solution focused on efficient milk harvest, comfortable teat contact, reduced operator strain, easy cleaning and long component life.
